IAM
17 - 23 September 2012
IAM is a collective of postgraduate art students at Oxford Brookes University. The Interdisciplinary Arts Masters includes Contemporary Art, Music, Sonic Art and Social Sculpture, with many of the artists working across these disciplines. Between 17th and 23rd September, IAM presents installations, performances and actions in and around Oxford that offer questions, fascinations and provocations that represent the culmination of their studies.
There will be scheduled events during the festival including an Opening Event on Tuesday 18th September from 6 -9pm at the Richard Hamilton building on the Headington Hill Campus of Brookes, which will be an opportunity to view installation works and live performances throughout the evening. An Oxford park will be the venue for a piano on grass performance at sunset and dawn, and look out around the city for live interventions, interactions and impromptu happenings as the week progresses.
